I have some exciting news to share!! THE COMPUTERS ARE HERE!!!! After months of planning and fundraising the computers are purchased! I cannot begin to tell you the excitment Taylor and I feel and just the huge sense of relief that we actually have computers to bring over!!! This is such a testimony to God and what He has done to see this happen. We also want to thank everyone who has supported us and made this a reality!
Unfortunately, there is some bad news that comes along as well. Due to some more complications with DELL we have to turn to another supplier which raised the cost of the computers. We purchased 18 laptops but only have the money for 17. We are praying that God brings in the money for the 18th laptop.
So what does this mean? One school will receive 10 DELL laptops and the two others will receive 9 HP laptops. While this wasn't what the original plan was, it is what we have to work with unless we receive money for the last three laptops. Our excitment for this project has not dwindled and we CANNOT wait to board the plane with these computers!!!

A couple litte bumps in the road
Taylor and I are quickly learning that nothing goes as planned! I'm sure this is just a little taste of what Africa will be like this summer.
With three weeks left till we board a plane, we are still hitting some bumps in the road. We are having issues with DELL and the computers that we ordered. It seems like there is always some new piece of paper work that is needed or some other delay. It has been a test of patience and faith as we try to sort this out. Thankfully, God has given us a team of people to help us with this which helps relieve some of the stress on Taylor and I.
Please just be praying that we can receive the computers next week. We need time to upload the software and package them up to bring over with us.
The journey has just started and I cannot wait to see what is to come once we land in Ghana!!
25 DAYS TO GO!!!

Computers, Computers, Computers!
Quick Update and Request for Prayers!
Abby and I have received 5 computers officially and should have another 10 by the end of the week. Unfortunately Dell is being tricky and we are having a hard time getting the last half of the computers ordered.
With the 25 day count down here we need LOTS of prayers that the Dell employees will be able to work with us and that the next 15 computers will come in in time!

31 Days and Counting!!
The month countdown is about to officially begin!! In these final weeks we are left with the nitty gritty details of getting us on a plane to Ghana. Even though we have knocked off the major items of fundraising and computers off of our To Do list, all the little things seem to pile up and demand an equal amount of our time. There have been a couple bumps in the road and we are already learning how to be flexible and adapt as things do not go as we initially planned. I look forward to when we can laugh about all of this!
Despite trying to keep track of everything and not totally losing focus in these last few weeks of school, Taylor and I are becoming more and more excited!! Uncle Enoch, the director in Ghana, has written us recently about the dedication ceremony that will take place and there is a rumor that there will be drumming and dancing to keep with local tradition. Who knows, maybe we'll be picking up some new dance moves?

A couple steps closer...
I'm not quite sure where to begin because the past few days have been a whirlwind of details falling into place.
Taylor and I have received our visas so that we can legally enter the country! It seems so official seeing it stamped in our passports.
We still have $500 dollars left to raise before we officially end our fundraising. In this second round, I have been completely humbled by everyone who has given. The generosity of Taylor's and my friends have left me floored because many of them are in college where there isn't much wiggle room when it comes to finances. Everytime I see a donation, Taylor and I are reminded that God is going to get us to Ghana, no if's or but's about it!
I have saved the best news for last! Tomorrow, we will be the proud owners of our first 5 computers for Ghana!!! Due to a special deal, we have to purchase the computers 5 at a time over the span of 6 days. While this is a minor challenge, I can't believe we are a step closer to actually getting this project on its feet!
Our next big challenge will be getting through customs without paying a penny more for the computers. While I am praying for a gracious official who will simply wave us on through with a wish for good luck, I am secretly preparing myself for what could be a lengthy battle with the customs official. As with everything for this trip, it is in God's hands.
Count down to Ghana: 41 days and counting!
